Siberian half-shaman

This collage is not my favorite and I can already see things that need to be fixed on it, but I really wanted to tell this story what happened to us a few years ago.
Still waiting for feedback to make things as good-looking and well-sounding as possible.

Hey Dead Whitehorn
I don’t know why you deleted your comment (I got it on my email), but I think it was a very good note. I wanted to have the boxes to be consistent and on other collages it can get very messy without a frame around the text. But it’s true that on this one the boxes are somehow disturbing. I can’t figure out what to do with them.
Does anyone have an idea?
Berit – retouch the background immediately behind the text so it is bland and less noisy and doesn’t interfere with the reading. You won’t need the black text boxes then.
The large white box – the text should be moved up slightly so it does not run over the mountain edge. Make the text white.
The concluding box ‘So we continued in…’, should be the only text in black and again retouch the background to make the words legible.
It’s looking good though.
good advice!
Oh, sorry, I saw your comment before but maybe forgot to answer. Indeed, good advice, I felt the same when I saw the result, but somehow didn’t know what I needed to do.
Now somehow I’m empty of ideas for the following ones. What ever I put together looks so mainstream and boring. Hope my inspiration will be back soon.
“What ever I put together looks so mainstream and boring.”
Only to you, because your work is familiar – to you.
Plus you can’t expect to produce excellence every time but you can strive towards it.
“I’m empty of ideas for the following ones.” Maybe work at the polar opposite: create something you absolutely hate, you may find some new ideas in the process.
